We were really chuffed to have had a full page editorial in The Sunday Mirror. Take a read of our fantastic review.
Our thanks goes to Emma & Joe, we are very pleased that they enjoyed their stay.
If you're looking for a festive retreat this year, we're pleased you've found us. A yurt glamping experience in Dorset is a wonderful way to kick start the festive season.
Nestled in the south west with Wiltshire and Somerset borders nearby, you will find Caalm Camp. The magic of Caalm Camp will bring to life those festive dreams of a wood burning stove gently glowing on a cold winters evening. Why not come and experience a unique way to spend Christmas and New Year with family and friends. We still currently have some glamping availability. We will be offering a glass of Mulled wine on New Years Eve, to kick start the celebrations.
Snuggle up with a fleecy blanket and take in the magic and spirit of the season. And remember "We guarantee that you will not be wet or cold whilst staying in our Yurts, as long as you keep the woodburner stoked".
This month also marks the time where our resident goats take shelter for the season. Swifty and Ruby are now inside for the winter. Admittedly we are not expecting them to share their stable with baby Jesus, but they've got the cosy straw on standby just in case.
There are plenty of festive celebrations taking place nearby, but here are just a few suggestions to tickle your fancy:
Longleat Festival of Light.
Throughout Mid November and during December, the unmissable Festival of Light will return and transform the park into a glowing winter wonderland. This year, Europe’s largest Chinese Lantern Festival will be a celebration of all creatures great and small. As it’s the Safari Park’s 50th anniversary, with some help from the beloved characters of Beatrix Potter, the animal stars will be taking centre stage as they light up Longleat! Prepared to be amazed you’ve not seen animals like this before.
